Our middle school Conservation Crew and Senior High EnviroThon teams met with Grayson, a biologist, with US Fish and Wildlife yesterday to survey and go over our future campus holistic restoration plan. We hope to start with a pollinator habitat (native prairie). Meet Curly, the Curlyhair tarantula! This cool creature is one of Terra Nova's Animal Care Club members! Clubs are an integral part of student learning at Terra Nova. Learning through interest-based projects can encourage students to dive deeper into various topics to enhance their education. We are thankful that we can offer these opportunities for students to not only lead a club but also participate in them during the school day. Drew hosted our first Animal Care Club this week.
